The majority of companies don't care. It's all free advertisement for them. Companies such as Fi, Sundown, & IA will actually give you the file needed to take to your local graphics/sign shop and have your own decals made. Sometimes people want stuff done in custom sizes and colors & there's only one way to fulfill those needs.
