Fi SSD's review

ok cuz i know with the upgrade they can handle up to i would say 1200rms. i thought u got the upgrade. im looking at allmost 500 for the pair but i think it will be worth it. they dont get as hot and i can send more power to them if i upgrade my amp. thanks

i was wondering how this sub will perform in the sub 600watt range. I have a rockford amp thats putting out about somewhere between 5-600watts and was thinking of matching it up with 1 12ssd with the copper coil setup for SQ. It will be in a sealed box in the hatch of my 07 eclipse.

they say the can handle up to 800 rms. it should be fine . you would wana put 700 or so but u cant with the amp u have so what u gona do it should be good. i heard them for the first time and felt them about a week ago let me tell u somthing there really nice. i would defff go with them over type r. i dont know why there people geting type r when they can have these. if u dont mind underpowering them then dont worry about it.

yea i bet r's are louder too.
Rs are fun subs.. but i'd take ssds over them anyday simply because their reconeable much easier, have better customer service, and their build quality is unreal.

I've owned 40+ 12" Rs at one time too.. before anyone asks if I have tested/messed with them in extent.
