Fi SSD SPL box design: Volume vs Frequency. Also port shapes.

I'm between two boxes, one of which has a single rectangular port which is tuned to around 34ish hz but has a small volume of 1.8 cubes. The other box I'm looking at has two circular ports and has 2.8 cubes, but I ran it through my calculator and is tuned to 54 hz. I feel that'll hurt my lows pretty badly, won't it? Anyways, could I lower the tuning of the big box and get the best of both worlds? Fill maybe? Thanks
