Fi SSD or....?

Just got a new amp (Sundown SAZ-1000D) and now I'm looking to upgrade my sub. My old amp was only stable down to 2 ohms, so my current sub is a dual 4 ohm 12" Type-R in a 2 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 hz. Looking to get something I can wire down to 1 ohm to fully utilize this new amp, and that will be able to handle the power easily.

Any better suggestions than the Fi SSD for around the same price that I can use in this same box? I guess you could say I'm looking for mix of SPL and SQ, it's going in my daily driver.

You could get an sa 12, I just got 2 and they are purrrty.

Hmm, tempting. That SA-12 will be able to handle 1,000w + rms for years to come with no problems?

If it's clean you will be fine. I will be running mine at 2 ohms, on an aq 3500, at 1800rms and have no worries. If you know what you are doing you will be fine. If you walk in ignorant you will run into trouble. If you want to learn about car audio go to bcae1.com and scroll down the directory on the right side. I have 2 10 fi ssd's i cant really speak to any other brands but you would not be disappointed with these. I listen to mostly hard rock/metal like mudvayne and five finger death punch they are fast with just awesome impact and they sound "real" for lack of a better term like the music is supposed to sound. My stepson is on a hollywood undead kick and i put that in the other day and i was flat blown away it was loud and shaking every mirror in my truck. I have been piecing together car audio for 20 years and these are by far my favorite subs.

The SSD is an excellent choice, an American made 3" coil driver with that power handling.

You kno what I like about u Aaron is that u stay positive about your competitors products... You don't down talk other subs and u don't always try to sell ur subs to people on here
