should, i'd definitly call them SQ before spl oriented.Same Question asked over there:
How are these as far as SQ? My dad is woundering about subs (He isnt into it so doesnt know any brands out side mainstream. His first experiance outside of mainstream was hearing my Sundown E8's and a RE destroyer) He wants SQ, not SPL, so the thought of one of there sealed in about a cube work? The power handling isnt a big concern as it will be low powered anyways. Will this fit the bill as a SQ sub like I plan? (Never ran the X)
These will take more than 250 RMS knowing FI - don't be scared //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
So what type of box would give the best SQ? He wants a small box so thats why I was thinking sealed. Any Input? I loved the Q and BTL so I have faith in Fi.Definitely not an spl sub by anymeans...
Small 2" coil, decent xmax, fair amount of motor force to help out the transients..
