Do you already have the sub or do you plan on buying one soon? Off of that power I would go more towards an SSD, but if you already have the Q just drop it in and give it whatever power you have. It won't be near as loud as it can be, but it'll sound good.

it should be alright, it will be alright, i had around 700rms on my 12" and it got loud, but honestly, its pointless. thats why i sold it and got the IA Lethal Injection, i had more than enough for the lethal, and it sounded as loud, if not louder than my fi q off the same power.

get sqhertz 12" LI in a ported box for your sister. nice sq with whole lotta oomph lol
