FI Q Vs. RE SX 12"

Both Subs to be powered by a Alpine PDX 1.1000

Both Subs in 2 cubes ported and tuned to 34 hertz.

Which one will perform best SPL wise and which will have better SQL?

The RE is 350 from woofers etc, the FI is 260 from Fi but im not sure if they ship to the great white north.

Any input appreciated

If SPL is your primary concern, get the SX.

If SQ is more your thing, go with the Q.

I'm looking for an all around sub and have narrowed it to these two after countless hours of searching on here. I want the sub to play every note, be punchy, and drop down low. Is one of these two subs better at everything rather then just being a top SQ or SPL monster.

previously owned 2 12 sx's, but they were sealed, sounded very good, currently going to be running an SSD so I cannot help you there, but I did love my SX's, just a lil pricey.

First off both are great products. You will get good sq and spl from either of the 2. The Q will have better sq and the sx will have more output, but not enough to make a difference imo. Which brings us to price. RE is kinda on the spendy side while Fi is easier on the wallet. just my 2 cents.

The Q is a great driver for what you're looking for...

exactly. "SQL" sub. The sx is more comparable to the BL. Just go for the q.

why? he will use the same recone as RE would Im pretty sure.

I just traded my 18" MT for a pair of 12" SXes but I havent heard em yet as Im awaiting one sub to be reconed. but it is pretty much a tossup, half my team uses FI the other half uses RE. well excpet a couple that run kicker but either choice will do you ok man.
