FI Q or RE MX

I had my heart set on a 12" MX and now have done a lot of reading and this Fi Q has sparked some interest. Has anyone on the forum used both subs? I'm looking for a LOUD daily driver that sounds good. My buddy has a single SE 12 ported and it sounds great. I would like similar SQ with more output. I had one of the 04 XXX's back in the day and liked it, but would like something a little more efficient.

I was actually thinking about the same exact thing...but the price of the q'ss is what really sticks out for me...Both are very solid drivers...But if you are looking for a multiple woofer setup then Q's may be your best bet...Unless money really isnt an issue

Money really isn't an issue and I will only be using one 12" Driver. 1000-1500 watts depending on which one I decide to go with,

i would go with the MX, and it can take more power

Get the Q if you want SQ. Great SQ driver but Needs more than 1000 to really get it going. People have said that the sound of the MX reminds them alot of the old XXX.

So if price isnt an issue get the MX.
