As mentioned its really hard to say which is best because it's all about install. But bases on my installs this is how I would rate it. I haven't heard the ID's but I have heard the IDQ's, they were 2 12's in sealed 1cft each. they sound great 9/10 on SQ and 7/10 on spl, they can get pretty loud but their mainly sq drivers (also remeber they were sealed, 400rms each). As for the IDMax(850-900rms), I only had it in a 1.5cft sealed, It sounded amazing, the Lows were just great, really good experience to have to know what SQ sounds like. But it didnt seem to respond as well as the IDQs, by no means did u sound sluggish or anything, it was just different. 8.5/10SQ 8.5/SPL. As for the Q's I am running 2 12's in ported 2.7cft to each tuned to 28hz, obviously it is going to be louder than the other setups, It hit's are really accurate. Also it can go low not as low as the IDMax was able to get, but low neverthe less. It can get loud tho, it's great drivers and I can probably put it in the same category as an SQ driver, but it leans more toward SQL (750rms to each). 8/10 SQ, 9.5/10 SPL. but remeber again this are in different setups. If u wait a few weeks, maybe 2 or 3 months I'm gonna be putting IDMax's in the same sub I'm running the FI Q12's in, but I dont think ur gonna wanna wait
