just because you can't hear something in a video, doesn't mean his sub isn't playing those notes.

All I wanted to know is why you guys thought my mic was "better", what was that based on? The Videos?

And just cause your camera picks up your sub hittin a note, and his doesnt, THAT DONT MEAN THE SUB ISNT PLAYING IT!!!

Infact, my mic could have been worse.....we don't know! You STILL don't know what mic/camera/camera phone/camcorder i was using....Don't know what he's using...so how are you telling this???

The same way u guys based your decisions on my mic being better, is the same way i based my decision on the bass not being as tight as it can be....

I showed him my sub as a reference.... Lending or opening him up to the possibility of tightening it up, IF he felt that was the case...... or even necessary

my point exactly. Your to quick to judge it by a camera. We have no telling which is better and which is worst. My point was being you cant judge a sub by a fucking camera.

i'm not trying to say your mic is necessarily better than his.

i'd just like you to entertain the idea that yours could be picking up the bassline better, and that his sub could be playing those notes, but they aren't audible in the final product (internet vid).

even if you do have a crappy camera (w/crappy mic) and he has a much better camera/mic, there could also be MANY other factors that make your video sound 'better' than his. not just that his sub isn't 'tight'

Sorry about this mess. I'd like to whoever talk to you, and get your impressions of the sub....

I'm still considering the Q as possibly my next sub.....

And I think the reason why ROE exist is to give ppl some kind of impression on how a sub sounds using.......VIDEO and AUDIO.

It's not so often you'll run into some1 with a Q, let alone have the time to arrange in hearing one.......

So aside from numbers, and people's opinions, which all are in th same boat with video/audio, i see nothing wrong with taking into into consideration along with the other factors.

Is it just me or is this character "omarvelous" smoking some serious rock cocaine???

I dont see what notes you think my sub is missing... But anyhow, it is my camera mic making it sound like that, to me it sounds like some pure resonance.

And your vid sounds like farts in the air, with a loud thud between each note.

Now a note for the wise, when you have a sub like the XXX, which is not very efficient, and have it running on a piece of shat visonik amp the microphone picks the sound up great.

However when you have a pretty efficient sub like the Q, in a super efficient enclosure with gobs of juice from a powerplant like the 20.1 your mic tends to distort pretty easy.

Ill take a video with the camera in front of the port with some test tones, you can judge how it sounds then lolz:uhoh:

I don't know if they sound better in person, maybe might wanna tune em a little tighter.

Atleast I would, prefer em a lil tighter.

I'm more SQ, like to hear allll the bass notes.
