hey guys, next month is my birthday and im lookin to get a new setup. I listen to mainly rap and like a ton of bass. Im debating either getting 2 type r 15s with an alpine m2000. or a Fi BTL 18 with a hifonics 2500 watt amp. which one would be louder?

okay i was thinking about getting a 5 cube ported box tuned at 35hz. would that be really loud?

I wouldn't get anything less than 6 cubes especially for a daily setup.

Make sure you dont get an N3 as well... Do you have the ability to support that power?

the R's do have more cone area though so they could get louder on that power.

make sure your electrical is good enough to support that much power before you do it.

I'd go with the BTL but a better amp.

Like mentioned more cone area on the alpines, but if you are considering the type r 15s, why not look into something better for that same price range? Some 15 sundown sa's, or some fi ssd 15s...
