That is completely untrue. There are SOOO many companies out there. Many of which most people don't even know about.
You can't tell me FI makes the best SQ sub for the money, the best SQL sub for the money, and the best SPL sub for the money.

It would be hard to argue SQ and SQL since they are subjective, but I am sure there are subs that will get just as loud if not louder for the same price as the BTL.

But saying you can't touch what you get for the money means you just need to do some more work looking around.

find 2 15's of your cheaper off brand on exactly 4000watts rms, and you can come here and we'll have you test against my team pres who just got his 15 btl's put in. we'll see whos better in an all around competition.

or find a set of 10s equivalent to ssd's on 2k daily for cheaper and well see whos better all around

Well there are quite a few people on here with some knowledge, but many of them hate each other so its tough to cut through all the flames to get some good info

Everything that once was a boner has gone up in price a lot. When I first got on here SI Mags were only 325 shipped and RE's were even affordable. Not so much anymore

Bonors become bonors for a reason. I'm doubting SQ freaks are going to be running Fi anytime soon but they have shown themselves in the SPL lanes. That doesn’t mean the same results can’t be had elsewhere but it does mean it is something popular at the time.

To the OP Ascendant still makes top notch SQ beaters. Elemental went down the drain a long time ago with a poor owner. TC was never a bonor IMO...the results from TC's woofers where the same as woofers from the past...because they where the same motors with similar coils and tin can cones. DD has always been loud for as long as I can remember but rather expensive compared to other companies. RE was the "bonor" for years and years along with Adire...Adire's owner went mad when it came to the adire store front and RE took a hard hook in another direction away from online sales. Fi took the place of RE me thinks... How much do you think you can get an Emmm Teee for?

A motor, basket, and recone kit used to run about the same price as a BTL from Fi. Granted you have to put it togather yourself but I learned pretty fast if you arent ready to recone every now and agian anyway you arent going to go very far in the SPL lanes.

agreed, however, MOST of the knowledgeable people on here, go to different boards, as well, and have semi-intelligent conversations other than the "which fi should i get" posts that DOMINATE here.... fi's arent bad woofers, im sure, but it is funny to see the people here ride them so hard, when half of them havent heard them or even seen them other than in pics....
