I just looked at Fi prices.........yall call $179 for the cheapest sub to $400 for the most expensive............cheap?????

I think there are alot of subs around that price range with equal performance.......I would guess anyhow.

agreed, however, MOST of the knowledgeable people on here, go to different boards, as well, and have semi-intelligent conversations other than the "which fi should i get" posts that DOMINATE here.... fi's arent bad woofers, im sure, but it is funny to see the people here ride them so hard, when half of them havent heard them or even seen them other than in pics....

Thats why I didnt buy one. I wont buy it unless I have heard it. I had the opportunity to hear an SI mag last weekend and I bought one. My DD before it I heard at a shop and bought. The BL sold a ton before anyone ever heard one. Not saying thats bad, or they werent gonna be everything people thought, its just a risk I am not willing to take.

find 2 15's of your cheaper off brand on exactly 4000watts rms, and you can come here and we'll have you test against my team pres who just got his 15 btl's put in. we'll see whos better in an all around competition.
or find a set of 10s equivalent to ssd's on 2k daily for cheaper and well see whos better all around

The SSD runs what? 180-190.....a PIECE. Type R can get louder and sound just as good.........for half what your spent....and take 1200 a piece (more power than you have)

Hell, MA Audio, T3 Audio, Soundstream, MTX, JL, Memphis, Rockford, Massive....they ALL have subs cheaper than 450 a piece that could wang just as good or better.
