a 3inch coil with shorting rings should give it good cooling abilities for a daily driver. Unless you competing honestly the amount of power alot of ppl throw on these drivers is a waste unless they are constantly playing near tuning. At a certain point all drivers start to really suffer power compression anyway so it's sorta moot point. I'd bet they could handle 2k no real issue, probably upwards of 2500 if you werent' stupid with your volume knob. If you want to make sure your loud for daily driving tune relatively low 28-32 and make sure the port is big to avoid compression. If you have good airspace and power the rest should come pretty easy. It may not meter super well, but it will shake things and get pretty loud over a very large bandwith while sounding good doing it. If you didn't like you AQ I don't see the BTL in a similar alignment being any different.

anyone else have somthing to say before i make a desision are any other sub suggestions. that might make me more happier buy sounding good and being able to take lots of power?
i had aq's before my btl and they were okay but am much happier with my btl

i couldnt be happier with my 12 im seeing how far i can push it so far its won and i love it. But maybe go with a pair of AQs i mean for the price with copper coils there a good sub

i sold one im selling the one i got now for 190 shipped its brand new but has a slight rattle think its break in noise but its seen power for like 2-3 days.
