Fi BTL SQ?

Last time i metered it, was before i took the seat out, before i dropped the ohms, and before i redid my electrical, i did a 138 legal but cant wait to see what im at now. And then when i add the 2nd 2200d
that was a trunk car? im in a single cab with the big 3 and hc 1400 and i think my stock alt is the 145 amp i have the heavy duty 3/4 ton frame and 350. but i ran it on those hdc3 10s and never went below 14volts

I'd like to see more xcon's on the street.
So ssa xcon 12 IMO. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Me too, as long as they are the correct choice for the install, and properly installed of course. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

interesting. did Fi add on another option for the BTL to give it SQ. What's SQ?
the whole whats sq lost its funny from you a while ago..

but anyways.. the btls sound MUCH better than the aqs.. the tuning req on them alone kills it.. they always sound like they are in a tin can or something very hollow idk.. with the btl I will turn it down a notch for more sq related songs.. I have mids that go down decently low so i keep the btl 50hz and under and let the midbass do the rest.. so.. take it as you will

its sad that it's never answered. one day, one day.

I was really really hoping that you would find that funny.

see with the xcon i wont be able to add more power heard the couldnt take to much more but with the btl i would be able to.

i hate making decisions and the aqs did sound hollow.

I also heard of them being used in home audio sq has anyone on here done this are knows how to design a box are somthing to make it sound amazing and still get the high output?

Probably different T/S parameters on the the sub since rooms have different needs for getting accurate bass reproduction than the car. Anyway all this talk of SQ subs and bass is nonsense as 99% of a subs SQ comes down to it's frequency response and thats mostly box dependent and what's loud is rarely accurate. That being said if we are looking at the very few specs that might really make a difference in SQ, I'd still take a xcon over a BTL. Shorting rings and XBL^2 make it a better speaker for playing music, even if you can't beat on it as hard. To get a sub loud you generally make it peaky that's why all the "loud" DD'er subs like DD AQ, etc all say tune at 38hz, it creates a big peak in the 35-44 range where most rap music is.
