been beatin the **** out of my subs for a few months with more then double the RMS on them and they have performed 100% reliablility. No blown or "scratchy coils", no black marks on my tinsels, no tinsel slap, no damage to the spider. In fact i get the impression Scott WANTS me to roast something so he can see if theres any weak points to be addressed. So far it aint happnin....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Best subs i ever owned hands down. Still sound great in fact i could argue they sound better now that im workin them in a little.

Its been 3 maybe 4 months so I Just wanted to let everyone know my thoughts on this sub.

Sounds good Meade. I wish I had the room for the 18s.

Every one is going crazy fot these BTL's. Makes me wonder, If I should get a 15.
yup i think you should //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif Just trust me on this one.

do you have any idea what its like to swap a sub out in that Plexi box in chickens caddy? LOL if you did youd say "****, them some fine RE's JUST the way they are"....

i had a motor shift on one of his MT15's and it pinched the coil to its death.....so i had to replace ONE. It was the hardest thing i ever had to do (well one the hardest) and on top of that you have to walk on eggshells because i dont wanna damage the mirror finish or the plexi itself. One slip and its OVER while messin with that box.......

The new project (the "hooptie") will have 8 BTL 18's in it ran off the Rockford T15k so keep your eye out for that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

oops i already said too much AGAIN...gotta quit doin that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I've had mine installed for about 24 hours and I don't think I could ask more out of an SPL oriented sub. It has to still be breaking in and I haven't heard a ton of current subs but I am very impressed with the sq of this monster. It is musical to say the least. Oh yeah, and it gets retarded loud.

It is kind of odd owning a sub that takes the (potential) 2500+ watts I have on tap and acts like it is nothing. It doesn't get pushed out of shape no matter how hard I've wailed on it

Was your MT to BTL swap a direct swap? Same amps and all>?

considering the MT's were on the new RF T4k's for a few weeks i would say it was a direct swap. The MT's like the new amps way better than the old ones. The ohm load i was running wasnt good for my RF amps and i actually had one go bad so the MT's saw mainly only 2 of the T4k's untill i did the swap. They hammered hard as hell to.
