had both, MTs and BTLs, both very good subs, get loud, can both take some watts

i would feel safer with BTL with that many watts daily just for the cooling and xmax extra's

but get which ever one that is easiest to get and cheapest, blown MTs are easy to find usually, get Fi to recone it, wouldnt cost that much

to finalize, you cant go wrong either way

I personally wouldn't do a Mt with that much power for daily. The gap is much to small for daily listening with lots of power.

eh, i beat on my MT all day long with ~3300w+ and i never smell a thing. i have to play songs WELL under tuning at max to ever get it smelly... i'd say whatever you can get for cheaper...

I burped MT's on 4000 watts a few times in a row and the dust cap was rather warm. I dont see how daily driving them at 4kW would be fine. I dunno.

id run a btl with that much power and get the full cooling options, it wont be as loud, but you wont destroy the coil either
