Both of these subs can be had by me for $375, but the question is, which one?

I'm running a Skar 1500.1, and later on im going to buy another one and strap them.

The sub will be going in my current box, 3.2cu.ft @ 32hz to replace my PB 3xl

Level 4 would be better in that enclosure but, the better sub is the btl. You need 4 cubes for that btl.
That box is almost the biggest i can fit into the trunk. The hatch is too small for 4 cubes, or i would have the PB in that now.

Even 3.5 cubes would be an improvement. The biggest you can fit is what you need.

The problem is that if i overmeasure im out a box and if i undermeasure, then i can always measure more; this box just about barely fits in the trunk now

Just to get this right; if i were to use the same box, the DC level 4 is better?

The prices i got for the DC were direct from DC by the way.

Is this the UFO motor or the N2? If it's the N2 they require smaller boxes so 3.2-3.5 would be adequate. Also on that power/enclosure a Level 4 would probably get way louder. 1500rms would only tickle a UFO.

Yes that box is better and the power is better for the sub. You can usually get the price knocked down a bit from the dealers.

At that price it is definitely the UFO in which case 3.2 is not enough. Also on that power either way even if it was a N2 he would still need a bigger box to get the sub moving.

I do not know which motor. But the person who recommended me to Fi for my upgrade told me his sub is around 2500w rms and costed $375; hes running it off of an MB quartz 1500.1 and its freaking loud!
