This is going into my 1999 Ford Ranger. Box came out to be 1.1@34hz and is being powered by a JL 1000/1.

Here's the beastly Fi Bl10

Temporarily in the truck for pictures:

The box I had in there before this lasted only about two weeks or so. The port fired up and it just had way too much port noise, but it got **** loud of 1000 watts. Hopefully this will work out better but I still have to wait for my new port to come before I can use it.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how I should finish the box? Carpeting or paint schemes or anything like that? My truck is a burnt orange color. Thanks for looking!

I really like the bl, it sure gets low and loud for a 10. I wish I had some more power on tap though. It seems like it can easily take over 1000 and mine is stock with the exception of the p-chamfer option.

I have a 99 Reg cab ranger.

Random question: How tall are you?

I was barely able to fit the box that I had 3 JL w3v2's behind my seats.

Box looks good though.

I'm short...5'9'' on a good day, haha, but I have longer legs (for my height I guess) and the box fits great. Was your box made by Mr.Cabinetry or whatever his name is? Because I had one made by a local shop to the exact dimensions of that box on his website a year and a half ago but I put 2-12'' Kappa Perfects in it. That box was a little too deep. 10.5'' deep at the bottom iirc.

looks good. my reg cab s10 with the AQ HD310 was a pain in the a$$
Thanks man. I actually did most of the work a couple weeks ago and when I took the pictures they saved to my camera instead of the memory card or whatever. But I will be replacing the Knukonceptz RCA's with longer ones, adding RAAM Ensolite over my BXT that is already on the floor, door, and back wall, and replacing the PG RSD's that magically blew after 5 days of playtime with a Pioneer Premier 720/ Seas Neo Textile tweeter combo sometime this week or next week (depending on when everything gets here). There will be plenty of pictures.

How do you like AQ? I've read good things about them?

Nah. Me and an installer friend of mine built it.

I was attempting 3 kappa perfect 10's or but i just didnt have the space.

Yeah, there isn't much room in the ranger. Here's a pic of the box that I thought was yours. I just realized it was for w6's though not w3's :

The two 12's fit in there fine, but I feel like I was starving them for air.

No you dont need to but when i used it I did a coat of grey primer an then fleckstone. An in some spots you can still see a hint of grey. So either lay it on way thick or more than 1 or 2 coats an youll be good. An yes walmart has fleckstone.

Ok thanks....I was just worried about the fleckstone getting soaked into the edges of the top and bottom pieces instead of covering it nicely.
