FI BL vs AQ HDC3

any of those woofers (btl , BL , hdc3) should be better than the l7's i have two 15" hdc3's i have in my room i dont use unless i our local stereo comp comes around and then ill throw em in my blazer. they are super loud and hit real low flex's the car really well. im more into sound quality so im running two 15" diamond d3's at the moment but to be honest the hdc3's are the way to go if you want spl. my buddy has a 18" btl in his explorer but i havent got the chance to sit in it and here it for myself but he told me that my hdc3's sound better than his btl. and i know for a fact that the hdc3 sound alot better than the l7 because i used to own one a few months back . hope this helps

2 HDC's will laugh at 2k of power, so a single 18 might be better. Sound is very good on the HDC. They sound "tight" for lack of a better term, but can get VERY loud doing it, so perhaps that's the "different" sound used to describe them. Not boomy or muddy at all.
Haven't heard a BL, only Q's and BTL's....

You SERIOUSLY are the blose301 of aq. stop it.

BL is somewhere between SQ and SPL, I guess "SQL" to an extent. They do well, but will not take 2k+ rms Daily, it just will not point blank.
The HDC is much better built to take that power, and although you dont NEED the aluminum coil I'd highly suggest it.

Why would you suggest this? the copper coil actually has a higher relative bl, and should provide a "smoother" less peaky sound.

The btl install was proper, in fact better than my hdc3 install. Stop brand nut hugging. I heard it with my own ears, the btl doesn't sound as good as the hdc3. Not even going to listen to you, your using a btl in a home theater setup rofl, way better choices in that department as well. The bl and hdc3 are both good choices can't go wrong with either. Now if you throw the btl in the mix get the hdc3.

Never said anything about you were deaf or said that you didn't know what you were doing. Just giving my 2 cents on something that I heard with my own ears, not just some random bullshit about equipment I never heard. They may sound good to you but not to me. You got me on the home theater setup as most that I know use SQ subs for that sort of thing so I apologize, but I think we are talking car audio here. If they are similar in installs or whatever then you got me again. I praise your q and bl line. But IMO the btl sounds like ***, that's just my opinion.

I didn't post any thing false for one, didn't know opinions were counted as facts now. I clearly stated I heard both in proper installs and the btl sounded like shit to ME. Might be music to your ears but not to mine. Explain how h00d ninja = ignorant ***? When you use the term hood the first thing that comes to mind is black people. I was just looking for personal opinions of these two brands. Truthfully, i would take the word of a sales rep or anyone who works for one of these companys far less seriously then an average joe with experience. I know they have the technical specs, and more knowledge of the products, but if i cant hear the difference i dont care. I don't plan on competing. I noticed the sensitivty difference, but if i cant hear the difference, or they sound very close, then it just comes down to RELIABILITY and PRICE.
I want to get something better then my 2 15" L7s(louder and deeper). And i dont want to waste my money on something that wont last.

The BL or the hdc3 is better than the l7's. Both get loud and both sound good. Comes down to how much power you want to run.

AudioQue is very inexpensive..
