Fi BL, shitty. or no?

i vote the tc3k. definitly a bad *** sub. itll take a good deal of power, destroy the lows, still get loud all around, and sounds **** nice while doing it.....

i belive i might get the T3k. 1.4 ohms wired, with my 1606d i should be giving it a clean 1,000 watts or so. although the Q/BTL i could wire down to 1ohm and get 1,200+ ... decisions.... ugh

I highly doubt 200watts will make a difference, especially since RMS is for a Q is 1000.

Running a 15" Q off 1000watts and it sounds good and hits pretty hard. I'd LOVE to try a T3K though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

To sum up the 'issues' that people are having with the BL in a nut shell boils down to people strapping high current amps to them and burning the coils/tinsel leads up to them due to a combonation of a) the incorrect box and unloading them showing off their new subs to their buddies playing some "bass music" which is WAY below tuning and slapping them on the basket or b) feeding them a ton of power, clipped, or very high current..or over double the power that we recommend, if not more...and breaking them.

If there was anything wrong with the sub...we would change it.

Moral of the story...you can't give a 7 year old a can of gas and a pack of matches and not expect them to put anything on fire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

BL and Q are the same price. (BL unloaded) but coil config on the BL says 1.5 on fi's website and the Q's says 1.4. I need to wire to come out 1 ohm stable. which is better for my application?
