Umm i am currently looking a 2 fi Sound Q 15's and i was wondering if a alphasonik 2 ch 3000 watt be right for the 2 15's heres the specs on the amp

500 Watts x 2 @ 4 ohms Stereo

900 Watts x 2 @ 2 ohms Stereo

1500 Watts x 2 @ 1 ohms Stereo

3000 Watts x 1 @ 1 ohm Mono

i've always thought newer Alphasonik sux ***, at least compared to the older ones they are

what about Hifonis Power @ 1 ohms: 2600 x 1

Power @ 2 ohms: 1700 x 1

Power @ 4 ohms: 850 x 1

According to the specs the amp should be stable to 0.5 stereo.

Hifonics is a great budget amp from what I hear.

I always here alot of problems from the hifonics that they just randomly short out or something. I got a pca2000d which arent to pricey around 400 and they are supposedly pretty good

no, but they do have a phone number. i belive is 867-5309.

to the op, i had a hifonics amp. worked great. and as far as i know, the person that has it now is very happy with it.

As for as alphasonik goes, they make decent stuff. Not sure on the efficiency/rated power of their amps, but I'm sure you'd be happy choosing alphasonik, aswell as Hifonics which is more of a proven product.
