i had both my ssd 10s runnin on 1krms a each. they both had the flatwind coil for the extra power handling, feedin them 2k they didnt even get warm. and were just as loud to the ear as my old mt 12s were. you need a dual 2 ohm sub

pick up a 15" bl dual 1ohm sub, port it and toss it on my zapco ag1000 that im sellin in my sale post and you would be super happy...

billabongcr..... Do you mind telling me what amp it was that you used to feed the 2k to the SSD's and how long were you playing them with that wattage...? Burp or Daily 2K ?

Wondering cause i have two md.1d us amps on the way and i'm gonna feed mine 1k watts (well they say the md.1d can push 1200) so i wanna know just how safe i need to play it with this type of wattage going to my subs (2 12" SSD Copper Coils)

If you say Fi BL, why? And what 'upgrades' should most definitely be put down with it?

A fully loaded BL will handle that power better, and the BL is leaning more towards an SPL sub
