I put up a post about designing a box for my 08 silverado earlier but I also have one further question.
For an SSD DUAL 10'' what would be the optimal air space for a
-sealed box?
-ported box?
And also would an down firing sub be a wrong choice for a truck with little room under the rear seats to play with? I have heard it can be muddy sounding.. This high excursion sub has a mounting depth of 6'' and runs at 800 RMS. I would like to only use up the driver-side rear seat and possibly the hump in the middle. And would ported or sealed be a better option.
