Fencing.

There shouldn't be any fences and no immigration quota. If you want to stop illegals from coming to the country, screw the current immigration polocies.

If all they had to do was get a background check, then they could become legal citizens and everyone would be happy. They'd still do the shit jobs, they make legal pay, and you won't have to worry about wasting money on building fences.

At the same time, reform SSI to credit hours based on length of time spent in the country rather than just giving out money based on credit (IE, you're a citizen since birth and your parents die, so you get to collect more ssi than a freshly immigrated family whose parents just died).

A decade or so down the road, and we'll be able to annex mexico and it'll all be good.

jmanpc always has such a marvelous way with words... LAWL!

First of all, why would we just allow all the mexicans to come here? That's a stupid policy. If we opened our doors to them, there wouldnt be any mexicans left in mexico for the illegals to send money to.

First off jman, there's one thing many of you don't know about Mexico, and I'm not about to say, but the U.S would very well be on it's way out of debt if they are able to discover this, maybe they know, maybe they don't. If they do discover this, some prices of certain things will go down and people will stop bitcing.

As for the topic......There's no fence that will stop us:up2somet: , seriously:rolleyes:, the more advanced the fences are, the smarter we're gonna get. My Mexicans stealing white peoples jobs is teh funny IMO, we're just doing jobs that other don't want to:naughty:, we don't complain about our salaries, we just deal with it and struggle yet no complains. Most of you have no clue how it is to live in Mexico, I was born in Michoacan, and trust me I went through half the hell my parents went through, Mexico life sucks, jobs are shittier and pay 75% less than if you had the same job here in the U.S.

The problem from my point of view is the corrupt government which stifles capitalism. If Mexicans are smart enough to climb fences and develop devices to counter any of America's attempt at fencing (with the exception of people with machine guns in a line pointed at the border with instructions shoot to kill and leave the bodies there) then they are smart enough to develop businesses and other types of infrastructure necessary for the proliferation of a good economy. An essential reason why Mexico is in the shape it is in is not because of America. It is because of Mexico. Look at China, for instance, Americans can get better quality and cheaper merchandise AFTER SHIPPING AND TARIFFS than they can with Mexico, where NAFTA and adjacent boarders provide competitive advantages for the country. The Mexican government is ignorant of capitalistic enterprise. Coming to America and shipping back money is not helping life of Mexicans in the aggregate. You may help your own family, but if the infrastructure and business community isn't there to sell the items, then what good is the money. A simialar situation happens when we ship food to Africa. Much of it sits and rots because there is no infrastructure to move the goods where it needs to go. Also, Africans cannot take the risks of modern agriculture because if they are wrong, they starve to death and many charities are too ignorant to understand that if you was to provide a guarentee to these farmers that if you try our ways and fail, we will provide you will support, but they can't because they don't have the infrastructure to ensure your promise. Wealthy Americans build libraries for those who cannot read.

The more I read about globalization and such, it's all about governments providing infrastructure, and letting the market do its thing. Look at my sig, the guy who said that was a communist who allowed the market into his economy. He came up with a plan to farmers that said as long as you produce 'X' amount of crop for the country, the rest you can sell. The famers then had motivation to become more effecinet because the government provided them the infrastructure to do so.

Mexico can and should be very successful if their governement allows them to. Mexicans are not dumb or ignorant, they are trying, just trying the wrong way. A revolution is necessary, but I doubt the US government would allow that to happen, even if they modeled their government after ours.

On topic, the only way to really keep illegals from coming is to punish those who employ them with prison time. Fines can be considered "a cost of doing business" and can be incorporated into pricing. Jail time can and won't be.

Shit dude, I didn't even keep half of what you said in my head, I can only take so much at a time lol, but yea, a revolution is needed and should happen.

The U.S owns China IMO, so basically I think that the U.S is trying to close up the borders because Mexico doesn't wanna comply with the U.S, I believe the U.S is trying to make Mexico give in so they can take most of their shit over for cheap labor.

That's how I see this btw.

Actually, the converse is true. Once China was allowed to invest outside the country, it bought quite a bit of the US Treasury bonds. They own more of us than we do of them. I am unsure what would happen if we ever defaulted to China, but I would be more afraid of that then Y2K or any "great scares"

This is where Mexico comes in play once again in a good way for the illegals lol, we can run back to our home country:naughty://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I have no problem with your people coming here just do it legally

Granted you live in poor conditions but does that give you the right to break the law? Thats like sayin a bum robbing a supermarket is ok.........

It doesn't, but what really gets to me is, that white people complain about us, even though we harvest their fruits and vegetables, why do they do that? Do they actually think that their own people do the harvesting?

Why it isn't a stupid idea: because if they just come here and are a legal part of payroll systems, more taxes can be collected on them, as well as letting them make fair pay. Economically, I it's the best thing to do - although it would take a ssi reform as well to prevent wellfare grubbers. Why it is a stupid idea: elaborate, please?

As for mexicans disappearing out of Mexico, well, that's Mexico's problem. Maybe then they'll put a wally up to keep them in...

And why would we want to annex Mexico? It'd be nothing but an economic drain on the US cleaning up mexico.
The last part was sarcasim, although it probably wouldn't be a bad idea, same with annexing Canida. Lots of oil there, and not as many hippies.
