I currently have two SonicFX 15" from the D series that have been sitting in their packing boxes in the back of my closet for about three months now. I no longer have my truck, and I'm not currently in a financial situation that allows for me to properly install them in my car. Although I'd really love to keep my babies, I'm also considering selling both of them to get the cash to start working on beefing up the electrical system in my T-bird (batt, alt, wiring, u know whats up).....
Although I'm sure the majority of the people who actually count on this board already know they are swell speakers, I'll give a little info for anyone not in the know about them...
The SonicFX D series of subs is the SQL line of their product list. These have been great speakers and have survived quite a bit of playtime by my hands. Although they're rated at 500w RMS, they took months of a 1500d at 1 ohm, and even more playtime on a Lunar L2200. SonicFX WAS a great company, but has now since shifted their focus more on the competition scene. Both speaks are still under full warranty until November of this year.
Last but not least, one of the speakers is brand new, never been broken in, never seen the light day really (doug sent me a new one after the surround tore on one of my older ones). The newer one is a 12-spoke basket, the used one is the Classic 4.
