Sold Feeler: 13w7

I'm thinking about just keeping my Avalanches until Spring since the weather outside hasn't gotten nice enough to do any uninstall/re-install work, so I may be selling the 13w7 I got from ebay. There are two "problems" with the 13w7. The first one is a small tear (about 1") in the surround that should not effect the performance at all, and you can silicon it if you want. The second problem is that it's missing the clamp ring, which can be bought from any JL dealer for $20-25. Not really interested in anything for trade unless you have some high-end components.

I posted a price because I was required to. Everyone knows that someone is going to come in with a huge lowball offer (like offering $250 if I post a price of $550). I'm not expecting to actually get $550 for it.....apparently nobody here has ever negotiated to buy anything before. Thanks for dumping all over my post though. Where are the mods here?

TO you, it may be a lowball, but to others, your price of $550 may be a ripoff. Look at it from both sides. Definitions of value will differ.

The tear may not be big, and the ring is really no big deal, but you have clearly stated there are "problems" with the driver and most people who will be spending upwards of even $300 are not going to want a driver with "problems" even if it is a W7.

Mechanically, the driver may be perfect, but cosmetically it's not. The tear can easily become greater, and just becuase the coils read well, does NOT guarantee it will work correctly.
