What happens when u file a claim with fedex i got a computer through them today and the thing was trashed and im pretty sure its there fault cause the inside protective packaging was destroyed.

I mean it had insureance on it so will i get insureance cash from fedex or what?

Contact the seller, it is his responcibility. He should reimberse you and he files the fedex claim.

If you bought it from an online store you will either get credited through your credit card or how ever you paid or they may give you a store credit.

If you bought off ebay they should send you your paypal or check back.

A little story for you...

The company I work for use to use UPS for all thier shipments. UPS treated us like dirt. We had no one to contact with out problems, we had no one to resolve our shipment issues.

We now use Fedex. We are one of thier top 10 customers. We helped them start Fedex Freight and FTN (Fedex trade networks). We have all the help from any one of them. I have even meet with the COO and CEO of Fedex when we were having issues. We have a global rep along with account reps that are very timely and helpful. You maybe have had one or two bad experiences...I ship over 100,000 packages a day to many locations, TRUST ME, they opperate on a constant 96% success rate which is MUCH higher then UPS.

all shipping companies settle with the seller/shipper....they'll cut him a check if it pans out that way, from there the seller/shipper will send you a check/mo..

...and yes, fedex pwns ups/usps/dhl

ive only received 3 packages from fedex and i already hate them first was my rlp which was cool, second was my xxx which the **** didnt even knock or ring the odor bell and left, then when i got my xxx returned they said they left it at 9pm on a saturday and it wasnt there so i called at like 11pm. the next day they left it on the driveway and drove off and i just happened to hear them leaving, luckily i got it before it got rained out. ive lost count how many things ive got from ups and ive never had a problem with then. im glad audioque is senting my hd12 thru ups with signature instead of those slack ***** at fedex. oh yeah and dhl is by far my fav company to ship. they are the cheapest and fastest. usually they deliver my stuff a day earlier than they say. 2days to ohio and 2days to texas. Today i shipped my xxx off and i forgot to write down the guys addy, so i told him the city and last name and the road, and the guy at the counter tried to look it up, but then i was like can i just get on one of your computers and check my mail, and he was like yeah thats cool. so he let me thru the door and hopped on a computer and logged into my email and got the addy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
