well i did buy screws but i dont think ima use em.

elmers wood glue ftw.

i read you dont even need em with a properly glued box...so ima find out.

No you really dont. I use Liquid Nails glue and trust me, from personal experience, a glued joint will hold tighter than the wood itself,lol. The screws are only there to hold the peices together and tight until the glue dries.

just got one more side on so i think ima end up finishing the box before work tomorrow and let it sit another night. dunno if ima paint it or not.

Yea thats true. I built a box one time and had to recut a new side peice for it. I had to literally take a hammer and flathead and chisel the old peice out where it was glued.

i did some test glueing with some scrap wood and i cant even get it apart.

my boy just game me some liquid nails too so i guess ima seal the inside with that tomorrow.

ahh just brought it in and lined up the front panel....i didnt accomidate for the thickass circular saw blade so i got some sanding down to do tomorrow.

i keep looking at that small *** 8 box i got but i dont want to bring it back to buddy cause id like to use it for a ht setup. but what 8" sub requires that small a box (.27cu.ft.)?
