Shots of it as I opened it. I guess packaging could have been better. You can see in one of the pics once I removed the packaging it looks to be tilted to one side. I'm guessing thats the side that cracked. As I rotated it around to inspect it.

If you've got more bubble wrap laying around I'd swap it out for the newspaper.... parcel insurance adjusters frown upon newspaper packing.
