Were is you guys's most favorite place to mount your tweeters and place your xovers, for examaple in a hot enviroment with 95F constant.

in my car, i like ...

when i had passive xovers- in kicks

tweeter as close to ear level-high on the doors or sail panels

Tweets on the dash, or A-pillar. Depending on what car it was. X-over was non adjustable so anywhere I could stash it...

Unlike the others, I prefer tweeters to be located near the mids or down in the kicks. Not a fan of high mounted tweets, personally.

Xovers; anywhere they fit. Kicks, under the dash, in the trunk, in the door, etc.

x 2 on the kicks if it sounds low when you are done you more than likely didnt spend enough time aiming them.

Kicks are sweet for tweets/midrange, but for those that have a solid door mount for a 6.5"+ mid running 2way , how well does a set of tweets fare on their lonesome in kicks?

Tweets on the a-piller. My xovers are adjustable so under the seat is workin fine for me.

My feet and passengers feet get in the way so thats why i choose up higher where they cant be blocked. Still sounds good regardless IMO though it does get a tad harsh with them being 1" ti dome tweets, but simply adjusting the tweeter att. on the xover to 0 or -3 makes it a whole lot better.
