Thanx Ramos-
I don't think any guitarist in my lifetime will top SRV for infusing everything I like to hear in music into one (sound).//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bowdown.gif.b85b23b82970bd22fb6b549c3392f016.gif
Sorry for not being more specific.
My quandry is this; Should I keep my SS amp, and continue to power everything I have on it, it is 6 channel, 65x5 + 400x1, and has a powerful sub channel, which if I purchase a Rubicon 500.1, I can have 1000 watts to the sub. Or do I sell the SS amp, and use my RF 600.1BD for my sub, and then buy a stronger 4 channel amp for the rest of my speakers. I'm not unimpressed by the SS performance, but it could be a little bit louder on my front stage.
Of coarse, I could always buy some 2 ohm speaks like the Kappa series, because the SS puts out 100x5 at 2ohm. Then I might get the loader sound I want.
What to do, what to do...
Anyways, to answer your question, I am running Type R components which are
4 ohms. And I was wanting to know the cheapest amp that was reliable to run 100x4 at 4 ohms. Say, under $200 maybe.
Thanx for letting me pick your brain- Cblue
