I just found one of these for $ 42. It was recently refurbished. Anyone has any experience with the V1 generation (IDQ10)? It seems that it has a smallish Xmax but ID claims in the manual that the larger cone area more than makes up for it...it sounds fishy...but I have heard so many good things about the v2 that I tought it was worth trying...

Thanks for all the info.

I also got an RSD to compare. I might put it in my wife's car (sedan, I got a hatch back). Much higher power handling than the IDQ...

I am curious about the Treo but I believe it has a deeper mounting depth (5.5" & recommended enclosure >.8 cu/ft.)

I went back to try the CVT and AGAIN, the installer told me they do better in a larger box...powerful sub tough...

Shame AA didn't publish the mounting depth. I called the site that sells them but they didn't know what it was either...I read a bit on them & seems like they use pretty fancy tech even in their low end Subs...what was their story with Adire?
