Faulty Wiring

hey one of my friends got a new dual 2ohm sub, wired it down to one ohm but when he did it he wired the postive cable from one motor to the negitive on the the other and vise versa... it smelled and sounded real bad so we took it apart and when we found out what he did wrong we fixed it and it seems to work fine but it still smells real bad everyonce in awhile i was just wonderin if that would just be the sub breaking in or if he could have damaged his sub

one of the VCs was wired out of phase, which was probably why it sounded bad. the smell could be excess glue on the coil, being a new sub, or he could be clipping the sub. if he's got the gain and bass boost all the way up, it's probably the latter, and he's probably a dumbass

Oh and to correct brady-lamb-ctfb(my buddy) i alone took it out and found wut i did and fixed it there was no we lol :p.. and ya i shoulda paid more attention but i just hurried and guess i wasnt paying attention at all..

seeing how i was the one that pointed out the problem and was the one that first suggested that that was wut was wrong and that the first question i asked was did u wire it rite and u said yes... im pretty sure it was a definate we
