fastest uve driven?

Had my '68 Cadillac DeVille convertible up to about 120 once. I know it's a big big car, but going that fast felt exactly like driving a boat...everything got very floaty. Nice having the top down though. I loved that car.

Yes, I meant with the top down. Why is that so hard to believe?

Oh, and also, just to stick with the topic of this forum, the very fastest I've driven was about 150Mph in a Mercedes on the Autobahn in Germany.

Got my 2000 F150 V-6, 5-spd truck up to 100 in fourth---where it leans on its friggin' speed govorner! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

Supposedly I can fix that by getting a power programmer though. But, not until it gets better performing tires. Trucks don't do speed well anyway. Well, maybe the Ford Lightning can.

Fastest I've driven: 120mph in a '97 Honda Del Sol EX. Fastest I've ridden: 140mph (Briefly) in a freind's modded '97 'vett.

i've gone 140+ in my Z28, well over 150+ in my fathers 911 turbo, and around 150 in his boxster "S"

pics of all three cars in my gallery.

110mph in 3 of my dodge intrepids(govener kicked in on all 3, the 2000 model felt like it had a lot left to go. The others were 93's) 105 in my dodge dakota before i started losing control of it and 120 in my mother's dodge avenger(dodge's version of the mitsubishi eclipse) before it started getting blown around by the wind too much(it also felt like it had a lot left to go)

I still havent tested my jeep(318 cu. in. V8) to its fullest, but i did have it up to 100 easily.

ive ridden 150 in my stepfathers viper, which was the fastest ive been with feeling like im going so slow. Besides the fact that the other cars on the highway were going by like they were sitting still, it still only felt like we were going 65 or so far as the car's vibrations/engine noise

Fastest I've ever been on 4 wheels was a bit over 140mph in a pumped-up '70 Cuda. I wasn't driving on that run and I didn't care for going that fast when I wasn't controlling the vehicle one freggin' bit.

Fastest I've ever driven (though it was riding more than driving) was on a Suzuki GSXR and that run topped 160.

The road gets really narrow really fast at those speeds...

On four wheels? 160 MANY times. 155 more than i can count. Topped 150 a few times in my stang but that wasn't comfortable at all.

155 was as smooth as being on the highway at 60 though, and i did it for atleast 30 miles.
