My buddy had a sundance turbo 4-banger and got to 120 in it. Thing was pretty fast for an old *** 4 door. Then he blew the ****** seal and didnt feel like fixing it so he got a geo tracker :thumbsdow

db, you never had a point,m never made one, and will never win this battle. Josh and Paikiah are the only ones making intelligble comments on the matter, backed with FACTS, not closed-minded opinions and rhetoric. Deal with it, you love you import, good for you. Fact of the matter is - it's not THAT fast.

and on top of it all, you're comparing at the end there, an NSX - waht, 80k at least... and a Cobra... 40 or so... I should **** well hope the NSX beats it.

All cars can be modded to be fast...jesus. Who wouldn't kill to own a Skyline, or a new Cobra, or even a TA. I own a freakin' 4 door family car that will hang with a stock Skyline but would still give my life to get rid of my family car for the stock Skyline or Cobra.

People seem to be too worried about how fast a car is in a straight line, it's cool to know what YOUR car will run in the 1/4, that's why I ran mine. I only did it twice and I hit the goal I was aiming for then quit.

Why argue about other peoples car.

I have a 1966 Dodge Dart GT built for the strip. It will do a 10.89 @ 134 mph in the quarter. Its got a 383 that is built to play, 11/1 comp., keith black forged pistons, and some very fine tuning on the intake system. It was a bitc/h to find parts for since they changed the body style in 67 so everyone makes parts for 67's and up.

The best part is since I have no emmision restrictions its doing it street legal.

Wanna bet? My bone stock 4 banger has over 220 hp at the wheels and tops out at over 150, I haven't personally had it that fast but it will do it. Modded versions of my car are running low 10's. The MOPAR race team is getting over 1000 hp out of the block and crank albiet with the rest of the internals completely replaced. They have run low 8's with a lowly four-banger.

even bone stock. Theres plenty of inline 6's that can go that fast. even 4's.
The dude is just another idiot that things an unefficient v8 is the best engine ever made.

first off you have absolutely NO IDEA what i was talking about. second, by NO MEANS do i think the V8 is the best engine ESP their inefficiency. Indy Race cars run off something like a risiculously modded 1.2 or 1.5 Liter engine. sho keep your comments to yourself. Also, i assumed esp since i stated, that SMARTER people would have understood that a meant 80's stock junkers that ppl claimed were goin 140-160---SORRY SMART GUY
