125 on the straight stretch at VIR (Virginia International Raceway) in my friend's Bullit Mustang.

o yes i knwo it is very capable of that speed but he didnt say with out the limiter and he also said that his taurus was doing 152... sounds like made up crap... plus the 04's jsut came out making it also sound like crap

its very possible to do 152 in a SHO their reported top speed is 148 drag limited, so slight hill or alittle breeze behind ya and your there...or any sort of mod. though it may take a bit to get there. i've done 135 in mine.

hwat year u tlakin about..... he has the V6 and a 5 speed on like a 94 i htink. i will do some of my own reserach now

teh fastest year was teh 89 pr 90 i believe... 89 i think was faster by a tiny amount, no ABS, save a few pounds.

172 in el stango. aftermarket computer is programmed with no first or second stage governor, only a rev limiter.

what do you mean by legally? going over the spped limit isnt legal? do you mean like not removing governors and what not?
