the fastest i've driven is 120 in a mustang gt it had cold air intake new exaust and something else i think bigger injecters and i got pulled over it was in a 55 i could of went to jail for wreckless driving but the guy spared me although the 220 dollar ticket really waasnt spared

My buddy keith has a 94 Thunderbird Super Coupe 5 speed, and hes put probly 15 grand into the car in the last 4 years. The needle stops @ 240 Km/h and we've accelerated much past that, id say a conservative guess - 290/300 km/h on flat dry highway out in the boonies

You guys aren't going to believe this, I know you're not, but seriously take one for a test drive and find out. Kia Magentis, full load, V6, speed governer kicks in at 135 MILES PER HOUR and didn't take all that long to get there, either. 150 MPH speedo, and it was doing like 4500 ish RPM at 135 miles an hour. I've only had my SRT up to 110 (coming home from the dealership passing some Sunday driver on a back mountain road.) My car in Japan would barely do 80kph (660cc 3 cyl). I had my '69 Chevy truck up to over 120 (speedo stops at 110 but I know its about 10% off to the low side) passing a semi uphill on I-10 just east of Pensacola, FL. Had half my worldly possessions in the bed at the time. Had to get around the semi cause I had to get off at the next exit. Truck was surprisingly stable at that speed and had throttle left. 105 through Nashville rushhour traffic in a '86 Maxima following some nut in a CRX.

140mph in my sebring coup on I-94 in Michigan b.c i was late to dinner (and my girl friend was in the car and she didnt even ***** about it, got to love that )and i was trying to keep up with a truck in another car but when i got up to 140 i decided i should slow a bit down they where going at least 160 (got to love michigan drivers).

How did you hit 140 when the limiter kicks in at 136, unless you roundeed up.

anyway i hit 136 because of th limiter in my 97 Sebring coupe
