and any decent paying job is going to have random sporadic drug test.
and when you fail the drug test, and you get fired and you put that job on your resume...and they contact the old employer and they tell them you failed a drug test...you = ****ed

Drugs are fun when your a kid, you gotta grow up one day
Decent paying jobs don't have random drug testing. Only truck drivers and forklift opperators get random drug tests. Most industries realize that it is a waste of money and only require pre-employment drug testing to cover their *** from a lawsuit.

Like I said before, this job fell in my lap.

Side note: I have never been one to brag about smoking weed, as many on this forum do.

Seems you're the one with no life. Idiot.

He has 10k in 6 years you have almost 1k in less than a few months!
90% of mine are from selling on here...bumping goes a long way lol.

And I don't really have anything against anyone smoking. But it WILL end up biting you in the *** in the long run.

I'm only 23 and I did the weed and coke thing for a little bit...got it out of my system, now I'm back to making ~120k a year tax free.

I've had friends that have gotten on as writers for magazines (big mag companies, one buddy wrote for playboy) and 2 of them got fired because of random drug testing, a lot more companies then you would think are cracking down on drug use because of pressure from the higher ups

With my post? Probably about 3000. Per capita posting in the classifieds, I have probably out sold you. But do I use caraudio.com as my place of business? Absolutly not.

So stay in the classifieds where you are wanted.

I have made over 100k from ca.com classifieds //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But Im just letting you know...a lot more companies are drug testing now. And if you are smoking...EVENTUALLY...might not be for 10 years if it stays illegal it will have a negative consequence on the rest of your life as far as jobs go. Because once you get caught its a downward spiral when the company you are applying for starts doing checks on why you left it could eventually cost you a lot of money.

Guess I just grew out of it

A) Since this is a pre-employment drug screen...lets say I fail. Why would I ever put this on my resume? No company would ever find out...ever.

B) You have made 100k in revenue or in profits?

C) Why don't you put that 100k to use and get a degree?

D) You say you make 120k per year, no taxes? How is that possible? If you were in that tax bracket...which I doubt you are, you would be up to your ears in taxes.

E) I fully intended on quitting smoking before I was to begin my job search. However, since I have such a high Department GPA, I was recruited...

Dustin, unfortunatly, you are incorrect about drug testing. Most good companies do random drug tests.

Most companies here do not. Most do pre-employment. Random drug tests are not common here. I have a list of contacts from college, most of whom have graduated and are working in the region, some making as much as 95k. NONE have been drug tested since their pre-emp drug test.

The reason I don't pay taxes is everything is in cash.

My family owns a heating and air business, and we gross around 500k a year.

I can go out and do service calls, when they ask who to make the check out to I usually just say my name or the businesses name, and get my parents to just give me cash when I give them the checks.

I get 65 dollars for a service call...JUST for going to the house, wheter I do anything or not if I have to get the toolbag out and touch your unit its 65 dollars.

We have a decent markup on parts and also get 50 dollars per hour labor if it takes longer then an hour.

I can do average around 10 service calls per day and work basically when I want.

I do have a couple of degrees, business administration (Which is basically a joke) and computer programming. Neither of which paid anywhere near the heating and air industry.

Right now we have 10 units to change out, at 7k a piece (profit is about 3.5k per unit) and we will be able to get done with all 10 in around 10 days + service calls after we get done with those change outs.

Its physical labor but its not horrible.

And the 100k is revenue, still probobly 30k or so profits

It doesn't matter if you're getting paid in cash or not. That is still taxable income. You get on me for smoking, but you are dodging income tax. We all have our faults. Mine just doesn't carry a large jail sentence.
