After watching all those Quiznos commercials on tv I went out and got one of their sandwiches. It wasn't even close to what the commercial looked like, on a side note it was good as hell though with all those poblano peppers in there.

first off, yea i saw that show. they showed how when they do the turkey commercials for thanksgiving they use steamers like you clean floors with to steam the turkey and then do some shit to the skin to make it look all perfect lol.

Quizno's is the shit, absolutely amazing!! I may have to hit up Hardee's or Quizno's for lunch tomorrow after seeing this thread, makes me want fast food.

Yeah I was thinkin the same thing when I saw the food...I want it really badly but I know it's nothing like the real thing, although I always knew that. They use hair dryers to cook it and shit for commercials. Stupid.

well as consumers we can agree we think its stupid. but put yourself in the company's shoes...would you want some of those pictures for your ads? i know i wouldnt lol

Well yeah I know I wouldn't want to either but it's pretty **** misleading to people that don't realize it...although if they don't realize it they deserve to get screwed. I don't even buy fast food anymore (well besides subway/quiznos) because it's so fxcking fatting, unhealthy, and it costs a lot on top of all that.

I'm going to add a video here too...pretty discusting. This is the German version.

Lets face it...Most fast food is not only horrible for your body its filled with marketing hype and low quality food product under that bun.....

Huge conglomerate run corporations that run these companies only have one thing in mind when they create a menu and deliver a product and that is PROFITS.....

They will lie to the customer,kill every and any animal they can and deliver something that has no resemblance to what the are advertising to the public for a buck..... Fast Food burger meat is not chop meat at all but a concoction of fat mixed in with flavor enhancers and low end "Commercial-Grade" beef to create the perfectly profitable burger....I buy meat from the store and its RED in color fast food burgers are light pink=FILLERS....More fillers = more profits...

Dont kid yourself,you buy from a FF chain and your suppoting a scumbag guy in a suit who only has his shareholders best intrests in mind.....

A commercial shoot can take several hours, so the food isn't actually cooked as it would look like crap pretty quickly. Melted cheese soon looks like plastic, the meat would dry out, lettuce would brown, etc...
