plastic? really? i always thought they used like butter or something similar for ice cream. i know they use glue for cereal. but i think a lot of that has to do with the item melting or getting soggy and not because it looks better. i bet for the burgers and stuff that's the real item.actually most the pictures they use to advertise isnt even real food its just plastic models painted to look like it. we do it here at icecream factory i work at and thats not hard to even make icecream look different. but ya its all painted plastic, not real
or any kitchen, really. haha.so you go in pay a couple bucks, get it within a couple minutes and expect 5 star presentation? if you knew half of what went on in the kitchen of a fast food resturaunt, you wouldn't want to eat there
i used to be a manager at burger king, and speed of service was distrcts goal. get it out as fast as you can. also if you thing all your food is cooked to order you are mistaken. a lot of those sandwiches are anywhere from 10-30 minutes old.not like the people are going to sit there and take their time when theyre making it...so its a lose lose situation for them no matter which way you look at it...they make it look nice, then the line gets backed up and it takes a long time to get your food...or you throw it together, get it done real fast...and it looks like shit...
I'm a AM at a mcdonalds, I can't say I've shared that experience. I guess all stores and chains are different. Despite Mcdonalds bad rap, everything is usually made fairly fresh.i used to be a manager at burger king, and speed of service was distrcts goal. get it out as fast as you can. also if you thing all your food is cooked to order you are mistaken. a lot of those sandwiches are anywhere from 10-30 minutes old.
