fast and the furious

My last car was an LT-1 Camaro that ran mid 9's on street legal tires
You and every other guy on the inerternet has or did have a 'street legal' 9 second car. Whenever I read this I think about my buddies 69 Camaro back in Florida. 540 high compression bigblock, mild supercharger, 2-stage nitrous, full roll cage, tubular frame, 4-link rear suspension, full racing slicks... and he ran mid 9's. But your small block powered street car on street tires could match it? Forgive me if I withhold my belief until I see proof.

And who's to say I didn't have a supercharger, and NOS, and street legal slicks among many other mods? An LT1 can make quite a bit of HP and torque. I didn't say it was stock.

Funny. My boss has a 5.0l mustang with a paxton supercharger pushing 9lbs of boost on a built engine with 511 horse to the wheels and he runs a high 11.

Next funny thing is his car is almost to fast to be street driven. Co-worker has a 5.0 with a T5 pushing 546 to the wheels and the car is undrivable when the turbo spools. He runs a 11sec 1/4 too. Sorry I dont believe your 9's on a street legal car, and even if its true, it wasnt very drivable.

Love it or hate it the 5.0 mustang was one of the easiest cars to make fast
