Fans...suggestions?

Looking to put a piece of wood over my amps so I can have a floor to put something on in the trunk. I'm def gonna need some ventilation so I was wondering how I should go about it.

I'm thinking the push/pull method, but how many fans would each amp need? (I have 2 in total) and how big should the fans be?

I don't really use my AC and prefer not always run the AC.

I don't think the wires really matter if they're going to be covered.

most people take care of the wires. kinda for your own well being.

I had some fasteners but when I got the sub in took them out. They were laid out the same way as in the pics...like so.

Check out some 120mm PC fans, google them. Some of them move a LOT of air.

Looks like it. I'd go the 120mm route, can get them with colored LEDs, etc. Might be able to fab up something pretty hot.

Gonna have a couple white LED strip and will only have a window over the amps and that's about it. The rest will be covered. Or maybe no lights inside, just outside shooting down. Dunno yet.

look here for good cheap computer fans, the Yate Loons are a good bang for the buck. Since noise is not a real issue, well could be? I'd look to the DSH which is the high output.

If you want to move a ton of air and dont need color the 120x38mm fans are more efficient(well bigger is), 120x25mm is standard computer case fan size for 120mm

5" 12v fans.

Blowing parallel with heat sinks if possible.

Leaves about 2 inches for air movement.

jump on craigs list. Go to the free sction and find about 4 or 5 old broken computers for free. take the fans out and your set. thats the "just make it work" way

do those perspex parts on your amps come off? if so raise your floor to that level and mount some fans to those
