Fancy MDF boxes?

Right now my box is pretty boring just plain black carpet. I am looking for that extra something that will make my box stand out. Like maybe 2 tone carpet (was thinking grey sides with everything else black) or a logo in the box (like 1/4" thick wood then carpet overtop). Do any of you make your boxes with the sides set in 1/4-1/2" to change the look and act as a handle? Does anyone have pictures or ideas about anything like this?
