False Floor

So i got my dad to order my HO Alt and now im about to order my 2nd 18 but i want to get a false floor built before i start building my new box.. I need it since i have that **** *** hump in the center of the back area lol. How do you guys go about building a false floor? Just MDF and build like a box with no bottom? Just need a few idea of hints or something to point me in the right direction.

Make a top that fits perfectly with the outline of the area.

Then use mdf to make the "legs". Usually 3 sides is plenty.

Bottom is not necessary. Also if amps are going down there, run fans.

Alright so you use MDF for the top or no? I just don't want my like 300 lb box and subs crack the false floor and crush my amp lol

just use mdf for the top and make braces/legs to support.

I have a truck and no back seats and yes its under the floor I'm adding fans and one of my ac vents comes straight out under seat directly to the amp
