there are a couple different ways to do it all require large bolts and liquid nails/silicon. i wouldnt suggest not using at least 4 1" thick bolts. you should have enough clearance to get up around the gas tank or exhaust just have to look. reason i would do this is to give the sub box a firm foundation if you wants to bolt it to the false floor

PM SSS 18734, he recently made a false floor for his Taurus, he should be able to give you some tips and pics.
its not a false floor, silly.

I just put my amps in my spare tire well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i went to check the gas tank and **** i cant do it cause the tank is right there all the way across where i want to mount hte box. so now time to make a amp rack off the back seat //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

what do you mean? the gas tank is inside your car? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

nooo it is close very close too the bottom of the floor so i dont want too drill intoo the car i am scared too... so i will just make a amp rack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif a flat board with the amps on it with te wiring

you can fasten down a smaller area a different way i was just talking framing out the whole back flat(with 2x4's or the like) and secure everything together and just because you tank is there doesnt mean you cant there is a solid 1.5" to 2" between your tank and underbody just check locations (so you dont drill up into any wires and work outside in
