My factory unit is rated 40 watts x 4, which I assume is peak power not rms.

If the rms power of my factory head unit is 15 watts x 4 (thats an optimistic estimate) then:

Would it be better to get speakers such as Energy 6 1/2" ENC650CV, which are rated as having a power handling range of 25 watts to 150 watts, OR Energy 3 1/2" ENC46CV, which are rated as having a power handling range of 5 watts to 100 watts? Thanks for any response. -Jim
