ok my roomate and his hair brian idea's kill me some time... we got into a little pissing match last night about this ( he is allso a mecp installer )

instead of running a ground w/ the run of rca's threw the car ( ground at both ends to keep noise out)

he said you should run a ground with youre rem. turn on wire instead....... i was like wtf for???

is he just retarded and stuck in his retarded way's or is this some new thing i missed out on...

iv always ran a ground along with the rem wire. because I ground the HU where I grounded the amps. never ever had noise. never even needed to ground the RCA's either. humph

ive hurd about running a ground with ur rca's and doing what you just said....

but running a ground with rem..... like ur gunna induct noise threw the rem. turn on wire before you induct noise threw ur rca's..... that just sounds retarded.....

I do a typical wire bundle, all the rca's the rem and a ground, etc. all taped and ran back to the amps. never had a noise issue

i normally do... 0gauge ground and power on 1 side...

then remote and rca's on other...

then a ground w/ my rca's down the oposite side.

I run everything together, rem., RCAs, power, ground, speaker wire, etc... Never had an induced noise problem. Always just ground the HU behind the dash.

i guess you can get away with it but i ALWAYS.... run power down one side and signal down the other..... infact it's habbit..
