Faceplate Interchangable?

I don't know anything about car audio so this may be a dumb question but I recently had my kenwood faceplate stolen out of my car. It is a very old model so I can't find the same one. So my question is... since I still have everything but the faceplate can I just buy another kenwood faceplate to fit the actual housing/cdplayer (or whatever you would call it)? Or i do need to buy a whole new thing? Are the faceplates interchangebale?

go here http://www.pacparts.com/library/default.cfm?mode=auto&mfg=Kenwood and type in the model number and see if the face plate is still available.
