Item(s) for Sale: SOLD SOLD SOLD ----- Merlon Audio 3000d Meam 1ohm stable mono block amplifier
I just got off the phone with Merlon Audio, and they said this amp is from the first run of amps they made a few years ago. you wont find any info on the internet about this exact amplifier.
They said it will put out 1500 watts rms at 1ohm without breaking a sweat.... the 4001meam that they sell right now has the same board as this one....
I have to add. they are very nice people to talk with......
Item(s) Description/Condition:
The amp has been tested and it works great. it has a couple light scratches on the top of the heatsink, but nothing that hurts the performance. the power wire inputs are huge! and it has all the power and speaker terminal screws... i do not have the bass knob...
It has never been repaired before. i broke the warranty seal to take pics of the board....

Ive owned a few brz2400.1's , american bass vfl150.1's, hifonics bx2200d's..etc , and all of these amps share the same audio driver cards and look very similar to each other( these amps use the exact same parts in the power supply and output section). the merlon uses the same audio driver card. and has half the parts of the above amps...
The merlon looks like a newer version of this hifonics brutus bx1800d

There are a few other amps that look similar in design, but you get the idea of where im going with this..
All in all. this is a good class d amplifier capable of putting some hurt to some subs... ive heard that you could run it at .5ohm with a good electrical .. and i don't doubt it at all. its built very well to be what it is... if i could find another one i would keep it and strap them both together on my fi btl 12....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
